Antarctic Trip Part-6

At the afternoon-evening we arrived at Half Moon Island  (South Shetland Islands) is a minor Antarctic island, lying 1,35 km north of Bugas Peninsula, Livingsto Island in the Antarctic Peninsula region. Surface area 130 acres.

Half Moon Island has a sizable rookery of Chinstrap penguins as well as nesting Antarctic terns and kelp gulls. Whales are often seen patrolling the shores, and this small island offers stunning views of surrounding mountains.

Here is Stefan Kredel the Leader of the expedition!!
